Fall High School Showcase Extravaganza

Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Pennington County Events Center, Rapid City, SD
Check in 11:00 am to 12:00 pm MST

Inviting the top two competitors from each event in each region.

Once a position is filled with a competitor, the positions will be rolled down until there are two competitors that have not filled other event positions, in each event from each region.
Points are from regional rodeos.
Only eligible to compete in one event--the one with the highest number of points (the exception of this is where, in some rough stock events, contestant’s were invited in the rough stock event in order to fill the events.)

$25 entry fee payable to the SDRA and mailed to Ann Sundermann PO Box 303  Baltic, SD  57003  in a separate check from the membership dues money order.
100% payback paying 3 places.

State SDHSRA Secretary must have the correctly completed high school membership forms, payment of money order or cashiers check and report card by September 1^st, along with the SDRA Entry Form and biography form, and payment of $25.00 payable to the SDRA.  Payment must be made in two separate forms.

Tie Breaking Rules:
If there is a tie in the amount of regional rodeo points the following tie breaking process will be used.
A person who had the highest placing in the event will break the tie.  For example, in goat tying, if Susie has a 2^nd place finish with 9 points, she would beat Dolly who had a 6th and7^th place finish, totaling 9 points also.
After that, a flip of a coin will determine the tie breaker.

In Team Roping, the top two headers and the top two heelers in each region will be invited.  If a header and heeler happen to have competed together at Regional’s, and have been invited because they are the top two placers, they will be given the opportunity to rope together.  If the headers and heelers have not competed together, they will compete with the partner that was invited in the same position as they were.
