Welcome to the South Dakota High School Rodeo Association website - home of some of the nation's greatest cowboys and cowgirls.

South Dakota is a charter member of the NHSRA, helping to start the organization in 1951. We were one of the states to compete at the first National High School Rodeo Finals.

We require our members to conduct themselves in an exemplary manner, to abide by a western dress code while competing, and to maintain their grades at the same level as other school sports.

SDHSRA provides an opportunity for our youth to participate in one of the most rewarding sports experiences anywhere.
